Thanks to the Role Mommy Network we were sent Pirates vs. Ninjas Dodgeball for Wii to try out. Overall, the concept is great, the characters are cute, and it is a game the whole family can play. So who will win when Pirates go head to head with Ninjas in the big game of dodgeball?
My eight year old son and his friend said they had fun playing this game. Though, I would not recommend this game for “hard core” gamers. This game is more suited for tweens or younger children. It is rated E for everyone 10+. Another cool feature is that is a game that can be played with up 4 players!
The game is played with seven different teams which includes the Pirate and Ninja teams and also includes Zombies, Robots, Aliens, Monsters and Mushroom Men. A few characters are a little creepy but most are just cute. There are 8 interactive arenas for a variety of fun.
One drawback is the characters are a little hard to change but overall this is a fun, family game. It is really fast paced so it is hard for us “older” people to keep up. In contrast, the kids seemed to get the hang of the game rather quickly.
Overall, a fun, family game!

Sounds like this would be a fun game for my kids. Thanks for the review!
I love playing video games. When I play with my kids we are on the same level and I feel like we are doing something they like to do as well.
I love to play video games with my kid. So she knows when to take turns and having fun is more important than winning.
It’s almost like sitting down to see a family movie, you laugh, are entertained and hopefully develop some memories.
This game sounds like it will be a blast to play with the kids. Thanks for taking the time to review it for us.
I think this game would make for a lot of monster vs. zombie battles between my husband and I!
I enjoy playing video games with my grandson – some quality time together!
My coach’s son would love this game. Pirates and ninjas are both big with him!
Sounds like such a fun game! Thanks for the review!
Great review and I know my tween son would just love this game.
I don’t play the games with my grandkids but I like to see them having fun with them.
