My family recently had the opportunity to try Pillsbury’s new Flaky Twists with Chocolate Icing. Thanks to the Pssst Community from General Mills for sending us a free coupon & several $1/1 coupons! (If you aren’t a member, sign up HERE to be eligible for future offers.)
As with all the other bread products from Pillsbury, we LOVED these! They didn’t look as pretty as the picture when I got done icing them but that didn’t matter – they tasted wonderful! This package makes 8 and they was gone in NO TIME at all! We even had a couple of guests stop by as soon as they came out of the oven. They wanted to know what smelled so good! Of course, we shared. 
Verdict: Tasted great and fairly easy to prepare. Hit that chocolate sweet spot. I will say I had some trouble twisting per the directions. Not that it matter because they didn’t sit there long enough for anyone to admire/laugh at my wonderful twisting. I would recommend this product for breakfast, special occasions, dessert, or just anytime you want something fresh & sweet.
Retails for $2.99. You can often find Pillsbury rolls on sale for $1 and there is always coupons out there for these products. So if you plan right, you can get these really cheap. You can print a $1/1 coupon HERE.

My hubby and I like to occassionally have a little snack with our coffee or tea in the evenings. I havent’ seen them in my store yet but These sound like they would hit the spot. Thanks so much for reviewing them. I will pick some up (with my coupon) on my next trip to the store.

I would need a coupon or have these on sale at my stores, before I could justify a splurge on sweets – my husband bakes most of our goodies, which saves money, and is a fun family project, but you know those cravings!
We have not yet tried these. They sound delicious and nice enough for a special occasion. They also seem easy enough to make that they would be great for a regular weekend. Thanks to your review, I’m eager to try them!
