For the Chocoholic: Ghirardelli Milk Chocolate with Peanut Butter Filling Squares

by Briana on December 4, 2008 · 5 comments

As a recovering Chocoholic, I’m struggling not to finish off the rest of this box of the new Ghirardelli┬« Milk Chocolate with Peanut Butter Filling Squares. Thanks to my chocoholism, I was chosen by She Speaks to test out this creamy new flavor creation. Reese Peanut Butter cups are my absolute favorite but after devouring these, I have found a new favorite! Look at it in the picture, so creamy and inviting.

Here’s the proper way to savor chocolate (apparently devouring it in seconds isn’t the proper way!):

  1. Sight: Look at it. Fine Chocolate will have a nice shine.
  2. Smell: Before tasting it, rub the piece of chocolate to warm it and release it’s aroma. It should have a rich, deep chocolate smell.
  3. Touch: Fine chocolate should melt readily in your mouth into a velvety smooth liquid.
  4. Taste: Fine chocolate should taste full and balanced. Not too sweet and not too bitter.

These are available at retailers such as Target, Walmart, Borders, Walgreens, Wegman’s, CVS, online, and at Ghiradrdelli retail stores. They are available in a bag filled with individually wrapped squares and as a filled bar.

Have you tried these? What do you think?
