My Favorite Low Cal Salad Dressing: Wishbone Salad Spritzers

by Briana on December 18, 2008 · 1 comment

As I was browsing our pantry today, I noticed a bottle of Wish Bone Spritzer which hadn’t been opened. (I bought a bunch of these really cheap this past summer.) This is my favorite Low Cal Salad Dressing. You can just spray it on each individual piece of lettuce if you want with basically no worries about the calories. I’ve always thought this was a very innovative product. I remember as I was globbing regular dressing on my salad once, I thought wouldn’t it be nice if you could get it on each piece. Wish Bone read my mind.

10 sprays = 10 calories. Really, 10 sprays is more than most people even need. When at a family function, I’ve taken my own personal salad spritzer with me. Just a reminder: Don’t fail to take it out of your purse when you arrive back home. Oops, I did that once and had to throw out a whole bottle. These dressings aren’t just for salads, though. Wish Bone offers a recipe site in which you can search by product. So if you have the French Flair Spritzer on hand, you might want to make the Apple Cranberry Slaw.

My personal favorites are Ranch, Italian Vinaigrette & Balsamic Breeze Vinaigrette. Additional varieties are:

I’m just starting to think of after Christmas and how many of us will have a resolution to lose weight and get healthier. Salad Spritzers from Wishbone are a tool you can use to achieve that goal without losing taste.
