Ragú Pasta Sauce: Full Serving of Vegetables in One Serving

picture-1Thanks to Mom Select we had the opportunity to try out two new Ragú Pasta Sauce varieties: Sweet Tomato Basil and Margherita.

We are already Ragú fans due to the taste and the great bargains we find on this product so I knew we would like the new two new flavors. However, us trying out both of the new flavors was just not meant to be.

Being the klutz that I am, we weren’t able to try out BOTH of the new varieties because I bumped into the pantry shelf and BOOM goes one of the jars. When the jar busted, it busted so hard some of the sauce splashed all the way to our kitchen ceiling, which I didn’t catch until Bryan asked what was on the ceiling. Luckily, it wiped right off. While I wasn’t able to taste the Sweet Tomato Basil it had a beautiful aroma even in pieces on my kitchen floor.

Pasta sauce is a great way to “sneak” in those veggies with each half of cup of sauce packed with a full serving of veggies.

I was excited about trying both of the new varieties but I was most excited to try the new Margherita variety. I think I would have cried if that busted. I was not disappointed!

The name just sounds fun, right? Margheriiiiitttttaaaaa….

Margherita from Ragú is a blend of tomatoes, mozzarella, and Italian Pizza Flavorings. We served it up in the traditional way – with spaghetti and garlic bread! I should have checked Ragu.com first because they have several creative recipes for the Margherita sauce for you to make your meal time even more fun!
