Website Wednesday: Time to Play Mag

by Briana on February 25, 2009

Many of you are probably looking for inexpensive activities to do with your family in this down economy. Why not dust off those board games and have a Family Game Night? What better way to bond (bargain style) with your family. Time To Play Mag has a new featured Family Game Night, which highlights the importance of finding affordable yet meaningful ways to spend time with your family. If you haven’t heard of Time to Play Mag, it is a site which provided parents and gift givers information to find high quality, age appropriates toys for their family.

With the new feature Family Game Night, Jim Silver will guide you through his top choices for Family Game Night. Several were favorites of mine growing up – Monopoly and Yahtzee. I have fond memories of playing games like these as well as Scrabble, Uno, and Skip Bo with my grandparents and numerous cousins as a child. While others are newer games that I have enjoyed playing with friends – Apples to Apples and Taboo!

Is it just me or do kids not play board/card games are much anymore? At least not like we did “back in the day”!

Join Amy @ Resourceful Mommy on Friday, February 27th from 9pm to 10pm EST on twitter #timetoplay, as she helps Time to Play Mag launch this new feature with a Site Warming Party.
